Sporting 1,400m² climbing surface, Boulderwelt Munich is the world's largest bouldering gym. With its bright and friendly atmosphere, all sorts of blocs, separate kids' area and a cosy café, the „Boulder World“ invites you to work out and chill out.

Dave Cato and Markus Grünebach run and represent the gym according to their Boulder World vision:

Until now, bouldering was confined to dark, rarely visited nooks in climbing centres, populated with extremely tough boys and girls working their projects – a place that struck terror into the hearts of rookies... Until now! Boulderwelt Munich puts bouldering, a sport in its own right, into the proper light and gives it the place it deserves.

We've been bouldering all across the globe for many years ourselves. During this time we've had many adventures, gathered multifarious impressions, heard the strangest stories and had loads and loads of fun.

Now it's time to share this enthusiasm with you! At the heart of Munich, the most beautiful city in the world, the Boulder World has become a reality. Enthusiastic climbers and boulderers will find no wish unfulfilled. The gym and its boulder problems will let beginners get to grips easily and will quickly make them enthusiastic devotees of the bouldering world. From super easy newbie routes to tough competition blocs, our guests always find motivating challenges. The Boulderwelt has a warm, bright, friendly atmosphere that'll make you feel at home and invite you to meet up with your chums, have a cuppa or do some relaxing slacklining.
